Well, foo! With a perfect season now off the table I can now talk about the Chiefs again… as in, they got crushed. For all they get right they just can’t seem to get stable at the tackle position. Lose the line of scrimmage, lose the game.

Speaking of things we’d like another crack at, I stumbled over this one a few days ago. “Rosie” , written by Roger McKenzie, was one of my earliest stories at Marvel and among the best I had a chance to work on. I just wish I could’ve done then what I can do now because the story deserved better. The saving grace on my end was the old Archie Goodwin theory that the average fan doesn’t know, or care, if the work is any good. They care if it’s done with the same intensity with which they read it. I may not have had what it took but, I gave it all I had.
